There are two male puppies available from the May 2025 litter. Their sire has beautiful tan markings, and the puppies are both marked with various patterns that will mostly evolve into tan. The genetics for the tan markings lead to very dark faces at birth, which rapidly fade to tan over the first few months. A photo of their sire is posted at the right, to show the tan/golden coloring. Their dam, Lili, is completely white; her photo is posted on the "Great Pyrenees" tab of this website.
These are friendly and energetic pups, ready for their new homes!
These photos were taken when the puppies were 12 (head shots) 13 (body shots) weeks old. They weigh about 25 lbs each. They have had their first two vet visits (two sets of vaccinations).
Their temporary names are as follows:
Left to right (viewed on a computer): Tan, Orange
General Comments:
Weight at birth, and as young puppies, does not necessarily correlate with adult size.
When puppies are marked, the markings will fade as the puppies age...but will not completely disappear. Puppies that will have all-tan ("golden") markings start out with an extremely dark face; the markings lighten by the time they are two months old and continue to lighten somewhat after that. Badger marked puppies have very distinct markings in black, grey, and tan that fade somewhat as they age, remaining darkest on the ears. All-white puppies often have very faint beige markings that are visible after a bath.
